Maintenance

A Planned Programme of Maintenance is a proactive approach to looking after your GP surgery premises, which will allow you to spend time looking after your patients, and less time on unexpected breakages and breakdowns.

How can we help you?

With restricted budgets, you will want to keep a close eye on practice finances and avoid any unexpected outgoings. To enable better financial planning, your GP practice should have a regular programme of planned GP surgery maintenance to ensure that the premises are fit for purpose and meet the expectations of your patients. However, you may be unsure about what work will need to be undertaken and the costs involved.

We are able to provide a 5 year Planned Maintenance Programme that identifies the expected expenditure required on your premises during that period.

By having planned maintenance schedule it will protect the value of GP surgery premises and minimises the risk of expensive breakdowns and repairs. It is better to invest in minimal maintenance on a regular basis as opposed to paying for unexpected costly replacements.

However, despite the best programme of planned preventative maintenance, unforeseen events can mean that reactive maintenance may be required from time to time. In addition to planned maintenance, we can look at individual building defects stating both the cause and the appropriate repair.
