Rent Reimbursement
Notional Rent, Current Market Rent (CMR), Doctors Rents and Rates; these are all names for the scheme used to reimburse Doctors based on the value of their property. Regardless of how you refer to it, you should ensure that you are receiving the correct level of Rent Reimbursement as you could be losing out on valuable income.
How can we help you?
All GP practices who are reimbursed on the Notional Rent scheme should question whether the amount they receive is correct. Accepting the opinion of the District Valuer without question has historically resulted in too many practices being under-funded. We can investigate the amount of funding that is in place to ascertain if it is correct or can be increased, and if required undertake a Notional Rent appeal. If nothing can be increased then there will be no charge and you will receive our advice for free and then also have peace of mind that you are correctly funded.
In practices where we have achieved an increase in the level of Notional Rent reimbursement, the additional income has been put to use to make a real difference including the refurbishment of patient waiting areas, new telephone and IT systems, and extensions to create additional space within the premises.
