Construction Design & Management Regulations (CDM)

If you decide to take on the role of developer for your new extension or development, health and safety on-site during the works needs to be properly managed.

How can we help you?

Construction Design & Management Regulations 2007 (CDM) govern health and safety in construction works. The regulations apply in differing levels dependent on the nature, size, complexity and length of project.

The CDM Regulations place a series of duties on both the client (you), designers and contractors. We can act as a CDM Coordinator allowing you to discharge some of your duties (as the client) and comply with the Regulations.

It's a fact!

Did you know
  • CDM regulations need to be looked at prior to the appointment of any designer or contractor as their competency may need to be assessed. Therefore the CDM Coordinator may be the first person you need to appoint before commencing with your new extension, refurbishment or development scheme, once the project has been approved by the PCT.
